This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which refunds may be issued for services provided by Ivapix Cloud (“Ivapix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This policy applies to all hosting services, infrastructure services, and related products offered through the Ivapix platform.
By purchasing Ivapix services, customers agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Money-Back Guarantee
Ivapix may offer a money-back guarantee period for eligible hosting plans.
Unless otherwise stated during purchase, customers may request a refund within 30 days of the initial service purchase.
Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund window may not be eligible for refunds.
The money-back guarantee applies only to the first purchase of a hosting plan and does not apply to renewals.
2. Eligible Refunds
Customers may be eligible for refunds when:
• a new hosting plan is canceled within the refund window
• services were purchased accidentally or duplicated
• the service was not used or minimally used during the refund period.
Refunds are issued at Ivapix’s reasonable discretion and subject to this policy.
3. Non-Refundable Services
- Certain services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- domain registrations or domain renewals
- SSL certificates
- third-party licenses
- migration services
- setup services
- add-on services already provisioned
- professional services.
These services are typically processed immediately and cannot be reversed.
4. Domain Services
Domain registration services are subject to registry and ICANN policies.
Because domains are registered instantly with domain registries, domain registration fees are generally non-refundable once the registration has been completed.
Customers are responsible for verifying domain information before completing the purchase.
5. Service Renewals
Hosting services that automatically renew are not eligible for refunds after renewal, unless required by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for canceling services before renewal if they do not wish to continue using them.
6. Excessive Usage
Refunds may be denied if the service has been used in a manner that consumes significant infrastructure resources during the refund period.
Examples include:
- unusually high CPU or memory usage
- excessive network traffic
- resource-intensive workloads.
This policy prevents abuse of hosting infrastructure through temporary use followed by refund requests.
7. Abuse or Policy Violations
Customers whose accounts are suspended or terminated due to violations of the Ivapix Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for refunds.
Examples include but are not limited to:
- hosting malware
- phishing or fraudulent activity
- spam operations
- illegal content.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers who initiate payment chargebacks or disputes without first contacting Ivapix support may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
If a chargeback is initiated, Ivapix reserves the right to:
- suspend services
- recover associated fees
- deny future service access.
Customers are encouraged to contact Ivapix support to resolve billing concerns before initiating disputes.
9. Service Interruptions
Temporary service interruptions or infrastructure incidents do not automatically qualify for refunds.
In cases where service availability is covered by a Service Level Agreement (SLA), compensation may be provided in the form of service credits, rather than refunds.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method used during purchase whenever possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution but typically occur within 5 to 10 business days.
11. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
Customers who upgrade their hosting plans may receive credit for unused time on their existing plan.
Downgrades may take effect at the next billing cycle and may not result in partial refunds unless otherwise specified.
12. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests may be submitted by contacting Ivapix support with the following information:
- account email address
- order or invoice number
- reason for the refund request.
Ivapix may request additional information to process refund requests.
13. Policy Updates
Ivapix may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the Ivapix website.
Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
